Kim Victoria Cattrall (born August 21 1956) is an actress from Canada and the United Kingdom. most well-known for her performance in the role of Samantha Jones in the HBO show Sex and the City for which she received five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations winning the 2002 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. In 2008 and 2010, she played the role in the film Sex and the City and Sex and the City 2. In the 80s, she played leading roles in Police Academy Big Trouble Little China Mannequin as well as Porky's. There is a lot of talk about Kim Cattrall and the first thought that comes to mind is her part in the role of Samantha Jones in the popular HBO TV sitcom Sex & the City. The character of Samantha Jones played by noted actress Cattrall was a pivotal moment in her professional life. In the US, she started appearing in movies with minor roles. Her first role that was acknowledged as hers was in the film Abbott and Costello Go to Mars in which she appeared as the part of a Venusian guard. Following that after her role on the screen in Blood Alley she was awarded the Golden Globe in the most promising newcomer category.
